Greeneum is excited to announce that we’ve been selected to pitch at the ChangeNOW Summit, Jan. 30 to Feb. 1 in Paris.
ChangeNOW is the largest positive impact gathering in the world, expected to draw 20,000 participants from 120 countries, and bringing in investors from global firms looking for solutions and innovations.
In today’s crowded startup scene, pitch events have become one of the hottest ways to share ideas and get discovered, as well as to bring in needed capital to scale up promising business concepts.
Our pitch session, in the Circular Economy category, will take place on Thursday, Jan. 30 at 2 p.m. Once we’re up on that stage, we’ll have just three minutes to share the Big Idea behind Greeneum’s platform with a high-level panel that could include leading personalities, investment leaders, and even European royalty.
We’re especially thrilled because that session, with ten competitors in our category, is sponsored by Veolia, France’s major private transnational service and utility corporation.
Veolia specializes in water management, waste management, and energy services. The company has recently taken steps toward a blockchain upgrade for its water-management and sensor infrastructure. Through the Greeneum platform, companies like Veolia will be able to make a similar move toward optimizing their energy infrastructure, anticipating peak demand, streamlining supply, and trading excess energy with other utilities all over the world.
Leading partners for the summit, the third of its kind, include Orange S.A. Telecommunications, CITEO Recycling, Clarins Group, BNP Paribas, along with Kering, the luxury products group that owns brands like Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen, and more. Over 50 mayors will also attend from cities worldwide, participating in dozens of keynote events on three different stages.
Organizers creating the ChangeNOW Summit aimed to produce the largest impact-accelerator event in the world. We’re pretty sure they’ve succeeded!
